Dr. Richard Bruns is a nationally board certified and Maine licensed Doctor of Chiropractic serving the Bangor greater community. Being active in the community in such organiztions as Kiwanis,Bangor Chamber of Commerce,Red Cross as well as govement appointments to Bangor Charter Advisory Commitee,Maine Health Data Organization,Dirgo Quality Forum,Maine Medical Assesment Foundation are a few of the ways Dr. Bruns gives back to the state and community he loves.
Dr. Richard Bruns has been freeing people from pain,illness and disease while promting health ,wellness and prevention in the clinic in Bangor, ME. As a Doctor of Chiropractic Dr. Bruns has 31 years of experience, Dr. Bruns is committed to promoting optimal health and well being of patients . He has recieved numerous state and national awards such as delegate of the year of the American Chiropractic Association and has had numerous Maine Chiropractic Association awards.He is past president of Maine Chiropractic Association and contiues to serve in both associations.Dr. Bruns continues to serve on several boards and commities including as a trustee of Logan University in St Louis,as an advisor to the Maine Chiropractic Association,MCA peer review commitee,ACA Health Promotion,Prevention Wellness commitee and Health Care Task Force.
Dr. Bruns uses a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of pain,injury,illness or disease and make whatever interventions , lifestyle and ergonomic adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Bruns is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health. Dr. Ramirez
Dr. Jose Ramirez is a nationally board certified doctor of chiropractic licensed in Maine. He is pleased accept new patients at Bruns Chiropractic Clinic. Dr. Ramirez is a recent graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic. Dr. Ramirez is highly trained in 7 Chiropractic techniques he uses to individualize each patient’s treatment plans. Dr. Ramirez uses his mastery of Active Rehabilitation techniques to empower the patient to participate in his/her recovery. Upon release from the office, the patient will have the tools to maintain and improve their spine’s stability. Dr. Ramirez strives to educate his patients on their condition. He will teach his patients how their pathology developed, how together they will improve the patient’s conditions. Lastly, Dr. Ramirez will give his patients the necessary knowledge to prevent a relapse of their condition.
Dr Ramirez was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. Dr. Ramirez completed his B.S. in Human Biology and his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Logan College of Chiropractic located in St. Louis, Mo. He completed his B.A. at Villanova University in 1995. After graduating from Villanova University, Dr. Ramirez worked as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Villanova University. While working at Villanova, he work with numerous championship teams and future professional athletes.
Upon leaving Villanova Dr. Ramirez taught high school in Pennsylvania for eight years. During his tenure Dr. Ramirez coached football, girls basketball and strength and conditioning. Once again Dr. Ramirez was blessed to have the opportunity to work with exceptional athletes, most notable of which is Larry Fitzgerald of the Arizona Cardinals.
Dr. Ramirez has used his extensive experience in the strength and conditioning field to create a team of Bangor’s best trainers and exercise professionals. Dr. Ramirez uses this team to compliment great chiropractic care in an effort to return the patient to full function. Dr. Ramirez is a member of the Maine Chiropractic Association and the American Chiropractic Association.
